Walking into the heart of the ADC Israeli protest rally

On Saturday I got word that there was going to be a rally and march that was being organized by the Arab-American Discrimination Committee and the ANSWER coalition to protest "Israeli aggression."

I wasn't going there to offer my support, but to have a complete account of the event using pictures. I was taking on the role of news photographer. I wanted to see for myself what type of crowd would this protest attract.

While making my way towards the main stage I passed a small group of people doing a die-in:

See this is the kind of protest I like, it's quiet and they get their point across. Everyone's happy.

I was wandering near the back of the stage and snapped this picture. Someone should run a background check on this guy:

The rally had the usual "I hate capitalism, I'm oppressed" leftist types. According to them, Israel is a terrorist government, George Bush is the world's biggest terrorist, and Hezbollah are freedom fighters. I just love their warped logic.

Update: Three of my photos appeared on the blog, Outside the Beltway.
